Competing in Triathlons has brought to the forefront one extremely important concept to making training a successful venture; proper fueling.  'Fueling' refers to nutrition and appropriate nutrient timing.  the TBC approach emphasizes a proper nutrition plan in order to achieve sports-specific training goals, personal weight loss goals, and maximizing strength ability.  A nutrition plan will be set into place with a TBC nutrition consultant, based upon the theory of "Fuel-in equals Fuel expenditure."  This theory utilizes nutrition education and the understanding that food is 'fuel' that the body needs, and by making healthful nutrition choices will lead to ultimate results
